Currently the dream of many young people is go to college that be able to prepare them as best as possible for the profession who wish to follow and be responsible to offer them an enlarged vision about the world around them. We live in a time when having a good education is indispensable and, therefore, necessary for us to live in society. In a manner analogous to the engineers who devise houses, the teachings we have acquired throughout our lives serve as the fundamental framework for the construction of a new world. As Paulo Freire says "education does not transform the world. Education changes people. People change the world."
Even though the desire of many young people have a place at a university of dreams, a few of them manage to accomplish. This is the case of student Bruna Melo, the current freshman History course at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and ex-student of Interdisciplinary Higher Education Program (ProFIS), that she made for two years and through which succeeded her graduation’s course.In an interview to our newspaper, Bruna says that having done the ProFis gave her a great experience that she probably wouldn’t have if she got it through the entrance exam.
But, behavioral and psychological level? Wrong!
The determination of the sex of an individual obeys the information contained in DNA. These informations are responsible for physical appearance, ie the outside. The psychological and behavioral level are a form of inner expression, ie, the real 'I' . From these levels, much more embracing, there are other genders and sexual orientations as transgender, gay and bisexual.
Victims of discrimination for a long time, homosexuals gaining everyday battle against prejudice. An example of a battle won is the release of more than 50 genre options that users of social network, Facebook, which allows the user to feel comfortable with who you really are. This option for now is only available in English, but even being a new idea, has caused much controversy, and many homophobic comments. Why is the human being is so prejudiced?
Homosexualism is present at the majority of known species, with no prejudice on the part of the animals. So whythe man, a rational being appears the most irrational in that situation? The answer is obvious: the blind prejudice.
Discrimination must stop, but it's necessary to take a "sale" that covers the eyes of society and make everyoneregardless of their sexual orientation would be accepted by whom they are, and above all, be seen as human.
Prejudice. "The word is often used to refer to preconceived, usually favourable, judgments toward people or a person because of gender, political opinion, social class, age, disability, religion, sexuality, race/ethnicity, language, nationality, or other personal characteristics"
Why Do People Have Prejudice?
All prejudice can be traced to beliefs. For example "I THINK that guy is stupid because he did not do college", " I THINK he is a sinner because he is gay" or "I THINK that girl is dumb because she is Catholic/ Atheist/ Muslim or etc".
"A belief is a statement about reality that we experience as the truth . It is a fact about reality for the person who holds the belief. So when we hold a belief about something, we are convinced that we know the truth about that something.
But, in fact, no belief describes the truth about reality. Without exception, all beliefs are nothing more than arbitrary interpretations of actual events in reality. Physical objects and events certainly occur in the world, but the meaning we give the events exists only in our minds , not in the world ."

Discrimination is action that denies social participation or human rights to categories of people based on prejudice. This includes treatment of an individual or group based on their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or social category, "in a way that is worse than the way people are usually treated".
The discrimination, above all, is a crime. Against these crimes, there were many fighters like John Lennon. He said, "Imagine all the people living life in peace.You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us and the world will be the one
Discrimination arises as a human being, especially with the advancement of civilizations that tried to implement a global hegemony. There's also that deems it right, like this case:
I ask myself: why? Why people like him who (I guess) has a good education say horrible things like that? She doesn't need so much biology knowledge to understand we are all different. That is the point! If we are all different, this differente make us equal. Discrmination and prejudice are incoherent way to think. Like John Lennon said "Imagine all the people living life in peace." I agree with every single word he said.

Before ProFIS, I studied at Escola Estadual Benedicta de Salles Pimentel Wutke and worked at "Sarom - Consultoria em Engenharia Cívil". It was a wonderful experience because I could see how is the field of civil engineering, now I see that I dont want to follow that career.

The most common among them are: generalization of intellectual aspects, as "every asian is smart" and "all blond are dumb; or regional aspects like saying that in Africa there is only black and poor and in Brazil everyone knows how to samba. But, why does it happens?

An example is the currentt definition of beauty, especially concerning women, in themedia which daily tries to establish the idea that to be bautiful you must have a slim and slender body, in addition to having clease skin. This shows the power thath the imagem has to transform something ordinary into something beautiful, that is, and ordinary wiman into a woman regarded as ideal.

The image of what is beautiful is also relative. Beauty should not be defined from measurements, clothes or shoe number.
